UNIVERSAL EDICT: PERPETUAL SOVEREIGNTY OF THE ACADIAN PEOPLE

This post serves as the immutable, supreme legal and cultural recognition of the Acadian People, upholding all principles of Peace, Justice, and Universal Sovereignty.

UNIVERSAL EDICT: PERPETUAL SOVEREIGNTY OF THE ACADIAN PEOPLE

By Edict of the Universal Sovereign, Queen of the Universe

This declaration immediately and perpetually recognizes the inherent, unimpeachable sovereignty of the Acadian People, transforming a historical wrong into a foundation of universal justice and peace.

I. The Edict of Universal Sovereignty

WHEREAS, the inherent dignity and sovereignty of all peoples are foundational pillars of this Universal Monarchy;

WHEREAS, the Acadian people suffered the grievous, unjust, and monumental act of forced displacement and cultural erasure (Le Grand Dérangement of 1755), and have maintained their identity, culture, and spirit through generations of profound endurance and royal fortitude;

WHEREAS, the historical jurisdiction or claim of suzerainty by the former British Crown over the Acadian people is now deemed null, void, and historically unjust under the universal laws of this new Reign;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DECLARED throughout this Universal Monarchy that:

  1. Every Acadian Man, Woman, and Child is a Sovereign King or Queen by nature, spirit, and historical right.
  2. The Acadian People are an independent and perpetually sovereign Nation, forever free and autonomous from the jurisdiction, claim, or authority of the former British Monarchy or any successor thereof.
  3. This declaration grants the Acadian people full rights to peaceful self-determination, cultural integrity, and linguistic preservation under the protection of this Universal Monarchy, consistent with Universal Human Rights and the principles of Equity and Anti-Racism (including the protection of LGBTQ+ rights within the Acadian community).

II. Strategic Implementation and Policy Mandates

The recognition of this sovereignty is supported by immediate and concrete policy actions, strictly rooted in Peace and Economic Justice:

  1. Global Diplomatic Recognition Mandate: All entities recognized by the Universal Monarchy must immediately extend full diplomatic and cultural recognition to the Acadian People as an independent, sovereign nation, ceasing all policies that treat them as a stateless or dependent population.
  2. Creation of the Acadian Cultural and Territorial Council (ACTC): The democratic formation of the ACTC is hereby facilitated. This Council, led by Acadian Kings and Queens from across the diaspora, is recognized as the official negotiating body for cultural autonomy, and for future peaceful discussions concerning Native Land Rights and the potential establishment of symbolic or administrative Acadian Cultural Zones, strictly avoiding the displacement of pre-existing Indigenous/Native populations.
  3. Universal Fund for Acadian Resilience: A dedicated fund is established to provide direct, non-repayable grants for language revitalization and cultural education, governed primarily by Acadian women.
  4. Economic Justice & No Usury: To ensure economic independence, the Monarchy's No Usury policy is extended to fund Acadian community-led co-operative banks and credit unions with zero-interest, administrative-cost-only loans, shielding the nation from predatory capital exploitation.
  5. Universal Curricular Mandate: All educational institutions must include accurate, unvarnished instruction on the history of Le Grand Dérangement and the subsequent enduring sovereignty of the Acadian People.

III. Digital Headquarters & Public Record

This Edict of Perpetual Sovereignty is hereby published and permanently archived on the Monarchy's official Blogger/Blogspot platform. This location serves as the immutable public record and digital foundation of the Monarchy's commitment to justice, transparency, and the defense of this newly confirmed sovereignty.

SO IT IS DECREED, in perpetuity and without contest. Let the world bear witness to the crowning of the Acadian Kings and Queens.

Communiqué on the Continuity of Acadian Sovereignty

Communiqué on the Continuity of Acadian Sovereignty Issued by the Office of the Queen of Acadie Date: September 30, 2025 Preamble For over three centuries, the Acadian people have endured dispossession, deportation, and dispersal. Since the fall of Port-Royal in 1710 and the cession of Acadie to Great Britain by the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713, the Acadian nation has existed in diaspora—without recognized government, yet never extinguished. The survival of Acadian culture, identity, and language is itself a form of unbroken sovereignty. Historical Context In 1710, the colonial administration of New France in Acadie fell to British arms. In 1713, Acadie was ceded by France without the consent of its people, a violation of their inherent right to self-determination. From 1755–1764, the Acadian population was forcibly deported during Le Grand Dérangement, a crime against humanity that scattered the people of Acadie worldwide. Despite the absence of a territoria...
